1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Codeswords website at www.codeswords.com (the "Platform"), submitting any application, or enrolling in any programme offered by Codeswords ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations of India.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform or our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2 Eligibility

To use the Platform and enrol in our programmes, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age (minors must have parental/guardian consent)
• Be competent to enter into a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration/application
• Be a resident of India or have a valid Indian phone number for programme communication

3 Services Offered

Codeswords provides the following services through its Platform:

• IT internship programmes (online, offline, and hybrid modes)
• Professional training and skill development courses
• 1-on-1 mentorship with senior industry professionals
• AI tools training and modern technology stack education
• Career guidance, placement support, and industry-recognized certificates

The nature, content, duration, schedule, and delivery mode of services may vary by programme. Specific details are provided on the Services page and at the time of application.

4 Application & Enrolment

• Submitting an application does not guarantee enrolment. All applications are subject to review and acceptance by Codeswords at its sole discretion.
• Enrolment is confirmed only after payment of the applicable programme fee and written confirmation from our team.
• You agree that all information provided in the application is true, accurate, and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in rejection or termination of enrolment without refund.
• By submitting an application, you consent to being contacted by our programme coordinators via phone, email, WhatsApp, or SMS regarding your application and related services.

5 Fees & Payments

• Programme fees are as displayed on the Platform or as communicated by our accounts team at the time of enrolment.
• All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Codeswords reserves the right to revise fees at any time. Revised fees shall not apply to already confirmed enrolments.
• Payment can be made via UPI, net banking, credit/debit card, EMI, cash, cheque, or bank transfer as offered.
• Late payment or non-payment may result in suspension of access to programme resources.

6 Refund & Cancellation Policy

7 User Conduct & Responsibilities

By using the Platform and our services, you agree not to:

• Share, distribute, or resell any programme content, recordings, materials, or proprietary resources provided during the programme
• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, servers, or systems
• Engage in harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behaviour towards mentors, staff, or fellow participants
• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing on intellectual property rights
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools on the Platform

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your enrolment and access without refund, and we reserve the right to pursue legal action.

8 Intellectual Property

• All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, course materials, videos, code examples, and software, is the property of Codeswords and is protected under Indian copyright and intellectual property laws.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access programme materials solely for personal, educational use during your enrolment period.
• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written consent from Codeswords.
• Projects developed during the programme may be used in your personal portfolio. However, proprietary frameworks, tools, and methodologies provided by Codeswords remain our intellectual property.

9 Certificate & Programme Completion

• An internship/training certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the programme as determined by Codeswords.
• Completion criteria include minimum attendance, assignment submissions, project deliverables, and conduct standards as specified by the programme coordinator.
• Certificates are issued at the sole discretion of Codeswords. We reserve the right to withhold certificates in case of misconduct, plagiarism, or non-fulfilment of programme requirements.
• Certificates are for personal and professional use. Any misrepresentation of the certificate or its credentials may result in revocation.

10 Limitation of Liability

• The Platform and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• Codeswords does not guarantee job placement, salary outcomes, or specific career results from any programme. Placement support is provided on a best-effort basis.
• In no event shall Codeswords, its founders, mentors, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform or participation in any programme.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the services shall not exceed the programme fee paid by you for the specific programme in question.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Codeswords, its founders, officers, mentors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your misuse of the Platform or services
• Any false, misleading, or inaccurate information provided by you
• Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party

12 Termination

Codeswords reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform and/or enrolment at any time, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms or any applicable policies
• Fraudulent or abusive conduct
• Non-payment of fees
• Any reason deemed necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform and its community

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform and access programme materials ceases immediately. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.

13 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mutual discussions within 30 days.
• If not resolved amicably, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
• Notwithstanding the above, Codeswords reserves the right to seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

14 Force Majeure

Codeswords shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, internet/power outages, strikes, or acts of war.

15 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any programme-specific terms communicated at the time of enrolment, constitute the entire agreement between you and Codeswords regarding the use of the Platform and services.
